Denmark's official delegation to the 2012 Summer Olympics are not only ready with their sports skills and energy but also with their wardrobe. While the athletes have been preparing for months and years for this most awaited international sports event, the people  tasked to design the uniforms of the players had also been busy designing and creating since last year. 

The final and official wardrobe was presented during the Danish Sports Award in January this year. Those who collaborated in creating the collection were the Jack & Jones and Vero  Moda brands of Bestseller and two members of the Danish Sports Confederation who are Olympic athletes themselves. 

The design and creative team were satisfied over their final result despite the long hours spent on brainstorming, designing and fitting.The members said that while their main goal is for the Danish athletes to show their top performance in all events, they are also proud of being able to show off the authentic wardrobe of the delegation. 

The Olympic 2012 wardrobe of the Danes includes clothes they will use for the opening and closing ceremonies as well as their casual leisure wear and and the so-called Denmark wear. For those curious about the Denmark wear, it includes the tracksuits that will be worn during the medal ceremonies.

Fans of Danish athletes wishing to have this sportswear can now rejoice. It is because this official Denmark wardrobe will be available online and instores on a limited basis this summer. This will enable them to show their support to the Danes whether at home or right in London. 

Apart from the 2012 Olympics, Bestseller will also provide the wardrobe for the Danish delegation to the Paralympics. This sports event for those with physical disabilities will also be held in London a week after the Olympic games.
