With nine ports in existence today, Denmark tourism continues to flourish.

Denmark is a melting pot of various cultures not only from the West but even from Asia. Some of you may be surprised to know that a Thai community exists in the country. An estimated 7,700 Thais are currently living in Denmark and about 95 percent of them are Buddhists. Approximately 80 percent of the total Buddhists in the country are immigrants from Asia including their families.

The good news is that these people from Thailand love living in this Nordic country. They have blended quite well in their community.

Denmark just conquered America. Not in the field of science nor in information technology. The recent triumph achieved by the country is in the field of entertainment, specifically in movie making.


Bikes are environment friendly, not to mention more affordable than cars. Biking is also a form of exercise which promotes better health. And this is what Denmark takes great pride in.

Currently, the use of bicycles is being widely promoted in Europe specifically in 27 EU member countries. For this eco-friendly campaign, experts from the different parts of the world are heading to Copenhagen and Amsterdam which are known as the leading cycling cities.

Another positive development is the huge investment put in by authorities from Denmark and the rest of Europe for this bike program.

Denmark Tops 2009 Stress Test

And the top stress test award goes to…Denmark. So what does this mean? It only means that Denmark is the best survivor when it comes to overcoming the global financial crisis that has badly affected many parts of the world.

The IMD has found Denmark to be the country best equipped to manage the economic downturn and enhance its competitiveness going forward. This was what the group discovered as it conducted its 2009 Stress Test on Competitiveness that surveyed countries in a better position to survive.

Burgers are everybody’s favorite. They’re affordable and yummy with ketchup or mayonnaise plus tomatoes and lettuce. They are well loved by both the young and old people anywhere in the world.


It’s undeniable that the Danish people are truly a source of inspiration in terms of their advocacies, lifestyle and culture as a whole. Attitude wise, the Danes are friendly and most of all very innovative as evident in the success they have achieved in the field of science and technology. They are worthy to be followed by other people.
