Just name it, Denmark has got it. From scientists to toy makers, artists and yes, to even singers, this Nordic country is proud to have them.

In the field of performing arts, Denmark is full of talents as well. In fact, the country’s bet for the Eurovision Song Contest has advanced to the final set on Saturday. The singer who got lucky to be among the 25 countries to be featured in the final is Danish artist Brinck from Arhus.

Brinck was picked Thursday night to be included in the top 10 qualifying slots available during the semi-final round.

Efforts to save the environment are indeed snowballing and Mother Earth is happy about this united movement. At least for the purpose of preserving the ecosystem, people of all races, religion and political affiliations unite together.

Copenhagen is Cleanest City

Remember the hit movie for children “Free Willy?” I’m sure many of you watched this film in the past and I know very well that you’re familiar with the orca whale that was featured in the movie. Its real name is Keiko.

You may have learned after watching the film that “Free Willy” was eventually released into the wild. Based on its title, the movie actually had the theme of freeing the captive whale to let him live a normal life in the wild. And due to the film’s big success, efforts were later launched to bring him back to the wild.

Orca Whale Found Lifeless

It’s not often that orca whales visit the Danish coast although there have been sightings of other species of marine mammals in the area. The Danish waters are rarely part of the killer whale’s route.

But just recently, an orca was found dead on a Jutland beach. The whale measuring 5.5 meters long was found at Norlev beach in the northern part of Jutland.

It wasn’t clear what caused the death of the huge marine specie but according to witnesses, there was blood surrounding the whale.
