The most hotly contested battlefield in the gender wars isn't in the bedroom. It actually is the bathroom. The seat-up vs. seat-down debate rages on and on.
A group of students from the Skjern Technical College has finally found a solution. They invented an intelligent toilet that puts down the seat after it's flushed - without needing any additional energy sources.
For their invention, which could save thousands of marriages worldwide, the students were honoured with the prize for best product at the Young Entreprise entrepreneurial awards. The pize was awarded by Danish Economy Minister Lene Espersen, who, we quote the press release, "showed a lot of interest in their invention". Espersen shares her household with a husband and two sons.
