This is the four star Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, the first hotel in Denmark under the management of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).
The first InterContinental hotel in Denmark provides 366 spacious rooms most of which offer fantastic views of Copenhagen and the Oresund region. A total of 39 club rooms are in place as well as four top floor suites. Each room is fully equipped with a plasma TV, mini bar, adjustable air conditioning unit, safety deposit box and fast internet connection.
Situated near the international airport with free shuttle service for guests, it is easily accessible to public transportation such as the train stations. Just across the street are the Oerastad Metro and Train station. This serves as an advantage to visitors who want to explore some of the city’s famous tourist attractions notably the Tivoli Gardens, Stroeget, Amalienborg, the Nyhavn area and the Royal Castle. Also nearby is the Royal Golf Course where hotel guests who are golf enthusiasts can avail of a VIP access.
The Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers also boasts of modern amenities. It has a Scandinavian restaurant, a bar and the first heating and cooling system that utilizes groundwater. This makes the hotel energy efficient and one of the greenest in the world. In addition, other features that make it an eco friendly hotel is its being carbon neutral, an EU certified green building, Green Key certified and member of the UN Global Compact.
